The Human Resources Management Department comprises of two Divisions namely; Appointment, Promotion and Discipline (APD) and Staff Welfare & Training. It also supervises the activities of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) in the Commission.

2.    The department performs the functions listed below:

(a)     Coordination of staff matters, with respect to appointment, promotion and discipline of staff of the Federal Civil Service Commission;

(b)     Planning and execution of training programmes and staff welfare matters;

(c)     Designing and implementation of personnel policies;

(d)     Coordination and supervision of security matters for the Commission;

(e)     Handling of transport matters and

(f)      Ensuring effective implementation of IPPIS service-wide for all new entries into the Federal Civil Service.
